BLITZ 2019
Project Warm's services are fueled primarily by volunteers such as yourself. Volunteers are needed on a regular basis to provide ongoing weatherization services, and of course the yearly BLITZ! The Blitz takes place every year the first 2 Saturday's of November. The Blitz for 2019 will be held on November 2 and 9 beginning at 9am so start planning ahead and gathering your team. If you're a high school student or in a sorority/fraternity that is looking for community service that is engaging and hands-on, Project Warm's annual Blitz is a great organization that is deeply involved in the community in providing year long weatherization.
Our goal for the BLITZ! is to serve over 300 households. To reach this goal, we need tremendous volunteer support and commitment. By volunteering, you are helping your neighbor enjoy a more comfortable winter, conserve energy and lower their monthly LG&E bill!
Volunteers meet at the LG&E Garage located at 9th and Cawthon. They sign in and receive assignments, materials and final instructions. Volunteers also enjoy delicious goodies and plenty of hot coffee thanks to our generous sponsors and supports.
